  1. I want to build a home and I've been pre-approved for a loan. Where do I start? The  first step is to find land to build on, and buy it, (Carmela can help with that transaction). Once you have our land, we will be happy to come out to your land for a site visit first to see what you have at no cost to you. Then we will discuss your budget, your ideas for designs and more.
  2. Should I buy land before meeting with a builder, or talk to a builder before buying the land? When you work with our group you  have  a real estate agent and builder combined, so we can not only help you buy the right land for your new home we will help you pick the  land that will work with your new home. We can also help you complete all the necessary paperwork concerning the well and septic prior to building. 
  3. What does a well and septic cost, how do I get the permits? The price of a well and septic depend on many factors such as  soils conditions, how many bedrooms will be in your new house, etc. We can help you navigate this paperwork and get  you several well subcontractors to give you a cost estimate.  
  4. I've been told my land has "bad soil" what does this mean and we fix it. Here is North Carolina we know the soil can be complex, so we use special soil engineers to help prep the ground before the build.
  5. How do I get financing for a new home? The best way is to get a construction loan. Most banks have a lender specialist who can help you with the paperwork and answer any questions. We can work with all lenders and loan types such as: VA, FDA, Conventional, FHA.
